Transformation of land use systems in Russian regions

The article is devoted to the study of changes in land use systems in various regions and natural zones of Russia for the period from 2000 to 2022. Spatial and temporal patterns of transformation of land use systems within the main agricultural territory of Russia were identified and analyzed. Main directions and tendencies of changes in the areas of the main land and proportions of sown areas of main agricultural crops are considered. The dependence of the transformation of land use systems on the agrarian reforms of the 1990s has been revealed.

Agricultural Nature Management of Semi-desert Saratov Priuzenye: Development History and Modern Structure

The article is devoted to the questions of agricultural nature management that is considered subject to natural-resort potential of semi-desert Saratov Priuzenye landscapes, history of it’s economic reclamation and modern structure of nature management. Materials of different years field research, statistic data, topographic and thematical maps, space images, elements of GIS-technologies are used in the work

Limit Development Factors of Agriculture within semi-arid Saratov Priuzenie

The article considers climatic and soil factors, that limit adoption of plant-breeding within the north semidesert. Analysis of long-term observations data in Aleksandrov Guy weather station, thematic maps (soil and landscape maps), space images and field research materials were made for this work. As the result of performed work, authors made the list of agricultural crops that could be recommended for cultivation in semi-arid term of Saratov Zavolzhie. 

The Selection of the Optimal Detection Method for Agricultural Crops by Satellite Images of High Resolution (the Saratov Volga Region as an Example)

The article provides finding the optimal method for crop detection by high resolution satellite imagery (using the Landsat 8 and Sentinel 2 shooting systems as an example), examines the advantages and disadvantages of existing algorithms and recording systems and selects the optimal method. The result of the study is the application of the optimal algorithm for crop detection and its verification on arable lands of the Saratov Volga region.
