анизотропия магнитной восприимчивости

Magnetostratigraphic and micropaleontological data from the Campanian–Mastrichtian section near Levashi Village (Dagestan)

Preserved oriented samples from the reference Campanian–Maastrichtian section near Levashi village (Dagestan), sampled in 1990 by the staff of the SSU Research Institute of Geology, were studied in terms of rock magnetism and paleomagnetism. Benthic foraminiferal assemblages and calcareous microproblematica (gilianelles) were identified in selected samples, and layers with fauna were distinguished. Thin sections were made from a number of samples for microscopic examination of rocks.

Magnetic Structures as Indicators Some Features of Formations of Tithonian-Berriasian Rocks in the Mountain Crimea

Anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility was measured in ~ 1,300 samples from 10 sections of the Tithonian-berriasian of the Central and Eastern Crimea. In consequence of the analysis of magnetic structures were found different degrees of tectonic deformation of rocks and corrected geological structure of explored area

First Magnetostratigraphic Data on the Maastrihtian of Mountain Crimea (Bakhchysarai Region)

The representative data about magnetic susceptibility, its anisotropy before and after heating up to 500°C and other petromagnetic characteristics were received on two sections of carbonate sediments of Maastrihtian – Chahmahly and Takma, located in Bakhchysarai region of the Republic of Crimea. In the studied sections there were established the magnetozones of normal and anomalous polarity, the comparison of determined zones with Geomagnetic Polarity Time Scale was conducted.
